The Hook: Musicians waiving licensing control
Australia’s The Music Network asked me to weigh in on the recent deal between Getty Music and Soundcloud.

tl;dr I feel it’s a mixed bag that disproportionately benefits powerful corporations while degrading the future financial viability of those who create licensed music… but I’m not exactly unbiased on this issue. :)
